Memory

My heart died when he let go of my hand
The whole world stop turning at that precise instant
I stopped breathing and hardly swallowed my pride
He now belongs to another part of his life

Looking to the hot sun of that autumn’s day
The tears running down my stranger’s face
Are nothing else but the distant and lonely cry
Of my heart broken into pieces of shattered light

The warm feeling of having your arms around
Is definitly lasting after your perfume is gone
Wishing I could hold your hand for eternity
I’ll close my eyes to forever see this beautiful memory
